Privacy Policy, Human-Readable
Fourteen sections covering everything Terra del Sole Vivo S.R.L. does — and refuses to do — with your data. Written under PIPEDA and Québec's Law 25, translated out of legalese.
01.Who We Are and Scope
This policy describes how Terra del Sole Vivo S.R.L. ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use terradelsolevivo.com and the Sole Vivo Casino platform, in either language. It applies to visitors without accounts, registered players and subscribers alike. Our Privacy Officer can be reached at privacy@terradelsolevivo.com.
02.What We Collect — Account Data
When you register we collect exactly three things: a nickname, an email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash — we never see or keep the password itself). If you subscribe, our payment processor additionally handles your billing details; we receive only a confirmation token, the tier and the renewal date — never your card number.
03.What We Collect — Gameplay Data
We record fictional coin balances, games played, session lengths and feature usage. This keeps your balance consistent between visits and shows us which games deserve more love. Gameplay data is analysed in aggregate; nobody at Terra del Sole Vivo reviews an individual's spins for any purpose other than a support request you initiate.
04.What We Collect — Technical Data
Like nearly every website, our servers log IP addresses, browser type, device class, language preference and page requests. We use these logs for security (spotting abuse), performance (finding slow pages) and choosing your default language. Logs are rotated and deleted after 90 days.
05.What We Deliberately Don't Collect
No government identifiers, no precise geolocation, no contact lists, no biometric data, no advertising identifiers, no social-media profile scraping. We don't run third-party ad trackers, and the platform contains no real-money transactions to monitor. Minimal data is a design feature, not an accident.
06.Why We Process Your Data
Four purposes only: operating the platform (accounts, balances, preferences), processing optional subscriptions, answering your messages, and improving games through aggregate statistics. Each purpose rests on a legal basis under PIPEDA — contract performance, your consent, or our legitimate interest in running a safe service.
07.Cookies and Local Storage
We use a small set of cookies and browser localStorage entries — for login state, language choice and basic analytics. The complete inventory, with names, purposes and lifetimes, lives in our dedicated Cookie Policy, alongside instructions for managing them in every major browser.
08.Who We Share Data With
Three categories of processors, each bound by contract: a cloud hosting provider (servers in Canada), a payment processor (for subscriptions only) and an email delivery service (for receipts and replies). We never sell, rent or trade personal information. If a court order ever compels disclosure, we notify affected users unless legally barred.
09.Where Data Lives and Transfers
Primary storage is in Canadian data centres. Some processors may route data through other jurisdictions (for example, email infrastructure in the United States); where that happens, we rely on contractual safeguards equivalent to Canadian standards, as Law 25 requires for transfers outside Québec.
10.How Long We Keep Things
Account data persists while your account is active and for 30 days after a deletion request. Server logs: 90 days. Support correspondence: 24 months. Subscription invoices: 7 years, as Italian tax law requires. Aggregate statistics that can't identify anyone may be kept indefinitely.
11.How We Protect Data
TLS encryption on every connection, encryption at rest for databases, salted password hashing, role-based access (only two engineers can touch production data), mandatory two-factor authentication internally, and an incident-response plan. If a breach ever creates real risk of harm, we notify you and the Privacy Commissioner without unreasonable delay.
12.Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and Law 25 you may: access the data we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, withdraw consent, request deletion, request portability of data you provided, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. One email to privacy@terradelsolevivo.com starts any of these — we respond within 30 days, free of charge.
13.Children and Age Limits
The platform is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; discovered underage accounts are deleted together with all associated data. If you believe a minor has registered, please tell us at privacy@terradelsolevivo.com and we will act within 72 hours.
14.Changes and Contact
When this policy changes materially, we announce it on the home page 14 days in advance and email registered users. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Questions, concerns, or just curiosity about a clause — write to privacy@terradelsolevivo.com or use the contact page.
